Footscan & MSK Assessment
for heel, foot and leg pain
Pain in the foot, leg and even lower back can come from an instability or dysfunction of the foot.
Common issues are heel pain (planter Fasciitis), forefoot pain (metatarsalgia) and leg pain (shin splints, ankle issues and achilles tendonitis)
We can assess the issues and make a plan on how to tackle them during our 50 minute appointment that is known as a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Assessment.
During the appointment we assess your gait and the function of your feet.
We use state-of-the-art footscan technology to look at the function of your foot and any abnormalities.
Orthotics (in shoe devices ) can often help re-align the foot and improve function.
We offer a range of off-the-shelf and bespoke orthotics including Phits orthotics to realign and support the foot.
Orthotics, exercises and course of Low Level Light Therapy (Laser) treatment may be advised
Rehabilitation appointments consist of a laser treatment alongside strapping and prescribed exercise review as appropriate and is a 4-6 week course

We use the Footscan® as part of our assessment and helps us develop a bespoke plan for you. This might include orthotics, laser treatment and strapping.
